From Scotland originally, Olive now lives and works at the opposite end of the country in Hampshire on the south coast of England. Her high energy style means that she often ends up covered top to toe in colourful paint, splattering her studio ceiling and walls to match!

Olive’s work is all about ’happy accidents’ as she calls them. She looks to create art that follows a ’the more you look the more you see’ model. Influenced by artists such as Jackson Pollock, she combines acrylic and gloss paint to create colourful abstract work. She uses a hair dryer in places to speed up the drying process and create a crinkle finish.
