John is a Scottish artist, living and working in Glasgow. Being an artist is integral to John’s identity, "It’s about being able to be honest to yourself - my art is about who I am."

This collection explores the delicate anatomy of a range of flowers, from Orchids to Gladioli. John works with sketch notes as well as colour notes, carefully planning each piece. He uses oil on canvas, painting in a representational style to delivering balanced compositions and soft, natural colours.
