Belgian artist Patrick Quinot, graduated from l’Academie des Beaux-Arts de Namur where he attained a distinction. Quinot works from an open studio situated on a pedestrian street in the heart of the capital of Wallonia, Namur.

His practice reflects and is based upon his feelings at a particular time and is often inspired by people’s interpretation of the work. Quinot’s style is relatively crude, using rollers and large brushes to create thick textures and rough finishes on canvas. He seeks to present slithers of time or abrupt instances that have been halted and captured for eternity, to be interpreted differently by one viewer to the next.
