Pip Sanday graduated from the Winchester school of Art with a BA Hons in Fine Art painting in 2007. Movement and dance have been a major inspiration since childhood and has carried on into her career as a physiotherapist. In more recent years she has incorporated art and drawing into her practice, using it with her clients.

These works carry a sense of spirituality with Sanday playing on darkness and light, creating space and presence. Optical and tactile characteristics have been created through the use of gesture, gesso, muslin, pigment and medium resulting in luminosity and 3-dimensionality.
