Alexandra Ghimisi is a Romanian-born artist, who is currently based in Nottinghamshire. Ghimisi plays a pivotal role and actively contributes to the local art scene as an Art Tutor with Inspire Culture, as a Fellow of the Nottingham Society of Artists and as a member of the National Acrylic Painters’ Association.
With a goal to continuously create and exhibit, Ghimisi aims to inspire others by showcasing the transformative power of dedication and passion. Her artistic focus spans contemporary landscapes and abstract flower compositions, where she celebrates light through rich and vibrant colours and a distinctive visual language marked by fresh and direct brush marks.
