Remy is a figurative painter trained at le Academie de Wavre, Belgium. She initially studied tapestry but found herself becoming increasingly more interested in abstract art.

Her love for rural France is reflected in the subject matter of her work. She depicts the landscapes roughly, leaving just enough evidence of structure. By painting with a pallet knife Remy gives a seemingly traditional choice of subject a more modern twist.
