Frank is from Paris, where he continues to live and make art. Almost 20 years ago he created a fictional character, affectionately named ’La Bestiole’ which translates as ’Beastie’ or ’Little Beast’. Here he features as an Egyptian pharaoh, Frankenstein and a superhero amongst many others.

Frank’s work has a 1980’s feel, unsurprisingly as he is inspired by New York artists Kenny Scharf and Keith Haring, both big names on the New York street culture scene of the ’80’s. He applies bright acrylic paint in layers to create very flat images and the black outline he uses in each piece gives his work its’ distinct cartoon quality.
