Working from his studio in Hampshire, John Deans is an experimental abstract artist. Excited by the discovery of new techniques and styles, Deans? work is a mixture between measured geometric patterns and expressive texture driven paintings.

Inspired by the works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Klee, Pollock and Kandinsky, Deans explores a variety of creative materials such as sand, sandpaper and collage.
