Colour is more important than we think and has been used throughout civilisations to help heal and cure ailments. Today we make decisions using colour all the time, from what colours we feel like wearing each day, to what colours we choose to decorate the walls of our homes with. Colour is powerful and creates feelings and emotions within us.

Based on the South Coast, Dyer uses acrylic paints and inks to create landscapes of colour and form. Her aim is to take the viewer on a journey around the canvas, using an explosion of differing tones and pattern work to create an immersive joyful experience, which almost threatens to overwhelm the senses.
