Moore specialises in painting the ever-changing reflections and distortions found on the surfaces of urban landscapes. Especially intriguing for him are the opportunities to contrast concrete objects with ephemeral visual effects; combining what we see in the glass as well as around, through and behind it.

Moore makes these images because he loves the metaphor of reflections being like our thoughts; sometimes distorted and confusing, often intriguing and fascinating; made of multiple perspectives to form a personal orderliness that is ironically never as permanent as we believe. His works call into question what is real or accurate in our perception and what is simply imagined.
