Born in Katowice, in Poland, Pieniazek has shown a talent for art since childhood and has been tutored by well-established Polish artists like Halina Schiwujowa and Boguslawa Bortnik-Morajda.

Over the past decade she has built a reputation for her bold and bright paintings. Pieniazek works mainly in acrylic or oil, and likes to experiment with colours and shapes trying to convey the pictures from her imagination. Her paintings typically capture simple scenes of fruit, flowers, lazy morning breakfast tables or fairy-tale landscapes full of patterns and vivid colours.
