An established artist Stuart A Green has exhibited all over East Anglia as well as internationally. Formally a teacher it was an exchange trip to Australia that would have the biggest impact and dramatically change Green’s way of working. Seeing the world literally from many different perspectives encouraged new approaches and experimentation.

A landscape painter, Green at times will record simply for the pleasure of being in a particular place and at other times he will search more deeply for marks that both man and nature have made. It is through this search that he finds colours, patterns, textures and forms that are the roots of his work.
