Malcom Crocker has developed a very distinctive approach in his practise which is engaging, challenging and thought provoking.
Working from his studio in the New Forest, Crocker paints in acrylics and oils often on large canvases. His work suggests other times and other places reflected in unusual and surreal landscapes and structures.
Through his paintings Crocker comments on our apparently precarious existence on a small planet in an infinite universe. The present series features dramatic aerial views looking down on imagined traces of histories and beginnings and endings all at other times and in other places. The viewer is invited to speculate and consider.
