Nottingham is a Scottish artist currently residing in Peterborough. Through her paintings she expresses deep feelings about her relationship with the world as she sees it.

Nottingham paints in a gestural abstract style and pushes boundaries to explore what she sees and feels. She uses a variety of tools and media when creating her pieces including rollers, palette knives, pastels, paint, newspaper, pencils and pens.

Exploring these mediums further Nottingham uses tone, structure, layering, mark making, as well as the building up and scrapping away of paint in her search to express her feelings, thoughts and ideas.
