From Canterbury originally, Fisher now works from his studio in St Leonards-on-Sea.

Painted in his distinctive representational style, this series of landscapes are inspired by the idyllic fields, woodlands and the narrow windy country lanes that are synonymous with the Sussex countryside.

Using deliberate brushwork, Fisher builds the paintings up in layers to create dramatic contrasting light and depth.
