Andrew Reid Wildman
Using a combination of acrylic paint and collage, Reid Wildman depicts urban scenes from various cities including London, Edinburgh and Tel Aviv. When Reid Wildman was young, his family moved from Yorkshire to Luxembourg. This major life event left him feeling rootless and as a result, he became drawn to the Britishness of brickwork, featuring it often in his paintings. His style is deliberately naive, stemming from this childhood event and a youthful quality filters through the old, nostalgic buildings that he portrays.
