Ishikawa is an artist originally from Japan, though she now lives and works in Belgium. She works in a semi-abstract style to create art that she describes as, "a festival of light and colour."

Composition is essential to Ishikawas work and she projects what she sees in her imagination onto the canvas using oil paint. She works to create harmony between the structure of each piece using a carefully balanced colour palette. Featuring sunshine yellow, fuchsia purple and turquoise green, Ishikawas work is fresh, uplifting and vibrant.
