Langley is an artist living and working in Petersfield, Hampshire. She discovered a passion for drawing at an early age and this laid the foundation for her current process, as Langley describes it, "figurative based abstract art".

Langley uses oil paint and a warm palette to deliver her elemental, floral collection. She starts with an image, in this case her ’source’ painting is the piece titled ’Autumn Rose’. From this derives the rest of the collection. Each painting in this series is an element of ’Autumn Rose’ and were they all arranged together, they would recreate this painting. Although each piece when it stands alone is abstract, when put with its fellow paintings becomes figurative.
