Born in Salford, Aird now works from his studio named, ?The Phoenix Studio? in Manchester. He was taught by the acclaimed Salford artist L. S Lowry, who spotted his talent and encouraged him to pursue art at Salford College of Art aged only 16.

Aird?s collection of striking and distinctive abstracts are influenced by parts of the human body, distant galaxies as well as changing landscapes. His process predominantly involves the use of unique resin, which he has intriguingly named ?liquid glass?.
