Budd is a London based artist, working from a unique studio in Bethnal Green. The space is part of an old brush factory, providing a creative oasis inside a collection of 18th century industrial buildings.

When creating her work Budd builds up layers of colour in acrylic paint. She uses colour strategically, ensuring that one colour speaks to another and plans the composition of each piece carefully. Budd?s style is abstract and playful, often drawing on objects that she sees day-to-day. Sometimes the shapes that she creates are purely imagined and put down spontaneously giving her art a sense of energy.
