Adam Cooper
Adam is a Portsmouth based artist and describes his work as, "painterly chance mixed with orthodox lines and geometry".
Working in an abstract style, Adam explores the conflict between chaos and disorder with methodical line and form. His experimental approach is inspired by artists such as Jackson Pollock and Joan Miro and he works in a number of unusual materials, not least coffee! In this collection, he applies enamels and emulsions in combination with the caffeine fuelled paint to deliver a rich colour combinations alongside unexpected textures.
