Huy is an artist living and working in Belgium. By design she limits her palette to mainly primary colours. This by default, gives Huy’s work a playful feel, even though she tackles the relatively serious subject of the landscape.

Huy paints in a very distinctive way, marrying abstract with a more representational approach, using acrylic paint thickly to build up mountains or towns in some cases, with the hint of a bridge or a church emerging from the heavy brushwork.
Her work also features some still life compositions, all painted in her unique and energising style.
