Digital technology enables me to work like a documentary film-maker without a script. I can work spontaneously prompted by the colours and signs confronting me as soon as I walk out into the street. It is thus the modern cosmopolitan life with its many facets which interests me to depict. By using the digital pen, graphic tablet and the screen I hope to bridge older and newer practice which opens more doors than it closes.
