This artist was born in 1940 in Mons. She studied at ’L’Ecole Supérieure des Arts Plastiques et Visuels’ at Mons, at ’l’ARBA’ and at ’l’Aceademie Royale de Biche’. In the early stages of her work she followed flower and cereal themes, and also traditional silhouettes. Her most powerful inspiration is that of the human: The body, the face and its attitude and undergoes studies of human emotion. Renée Nicodème holds many exhibitions at her at her studio and is loved for her painting of passion.
