Hazel Langley studied Art at the Ruskin School of Fine Art and Drawing in Oxford and more recently obtained a degree in Fine Art at Portsmouth University. She has exhibited her work in Chichester Open Art Exhibition, Chichester Cathedral, Portsmouth Arts Centre, Artists Harbour Gallery, West Meon House, Dragon Street Gallery, Petersfield Artists in Town (Paint) Trail and many their venues.

My early age training in drawing has been the foundation for my present work which is a form of figurative based abstract art. Painting in oils has opened up for me the world of colour and has given me more freedom of expression that any other medium. Much of my work is based on the abstraction of images and there is a continual search to achieve exciting and exhilarating explorations into the relationship between colour and form. Music and poetry provide much of my inspiration.
