Magda Igyarto

This artist is of polish- hungarian origin, born in 1946. She has an interesting and unusual background, having studied literature and therapy, she has now painted and exhibited for years, influenced by her previous steps. She uses colour, playing in shadow and light especially.

She freezes movement of the moment, leaving only the essential lines that suggest more than initially seen. Her paintings become windows, inviting introspection, meditation, peace and tranquility.

Magda Igyarto now lives in Provence, where she has dedicated herself to painting, sculpture and writing.
